You can choose from either a Redirect lease or a file upload lease.

Under a redirect lease agreement, your domain name will be redirected by the lessor to another domain name.

If you select a file upload lease, the lessor will be able to upload HTML files to your domain location. 

In each case, you will be required to change the nameservers of the leased domain to ns1.zaano.com and ns2.zaano.com 

Once you have accepted a lease request, Zaano will not release the domain name to the lessor until we have received payment in full for lease (i.e. $30/mnth for 12 months = $360). Zaano will take a commission of 20% from this total amount and pay you, the domain owner, equal amounts each month for the duration of the lease. 

The system is designed this way to protect both the domain name owner and the lessor from breaking the lease terms. If the domain name owner changes his nameservers back, the remaining funds will be returned to the lessor. Also, the domain owner is protected against the lessor not paying as Zaano secures the total funds prior to releasing the name.
