Why rent a domain name and not buy one?

Could the domain name owner remove my content part way through the lease agreement?

Zaano protects you from this happening by managing the nameservers and hosting the content for you.

Why should I lease my domain names?

Domain renting lets you quickly and easily earn a passive income from your portfolio. You can decide how much to rent out your domains for and for how long they advertiser can lease them for. You can also choose whether the domain name can be redirected to another domain or whether content can be uploaded to your domain name.

If I decide to list my domains for rent, am I still able to monetize them in other ways while I wait for a lease offer?

Yes. You can have your own content on your domains until you accept a lease agreement. When you accept a file upload lease agreement and you have received payment, you must change your nameservers to those provided for you so content can be uploaded.

Is there a minimum number of domains I need in order to be eligible for the Zaano service?

No, you can start with just one domain name.

How will I be paid once I accept a lease agreement?

To use the Zaano service you will need a Paypal account. The total amount of the lease agreement will be paid directly into your Paypal account. Thus, you will be required to provide your Paypal address when signing up.

What domains will attract advertisers most easily and what should I charge for rent?
